      Is there reporting that allows us to identify a specific donor who searched and found their company?

      Tracking Donors Who Search for and Find Their Company

      Yes, with Double the Donation, your organization can track individual donors throughout the matching gift lifecycle. By setting up a few key components, you can identify specific donors who searched for and found their company’s matching gift program.

      Key Components to Enable Detailed Tracking:

      1. Integrated Platform or Data Import

        • When your organization uses one of Double the Donation’s built-in integrations, each donation made through the platform will enter the matching module with a unique donation ID. This allows the system to track the individual donation throughout the matching gift process.

      2. Search for Companies Using the Plugin

        • With our recommended plugin approach, when a donor searches for a company on your dedicated matching gift page (usually after being redirected from an automated email), your organization will capture the company name selected by the donor.

      3. Donation Statuses

        • Once a donation enters the matching module, it progresses through different matching gift statuses (e.g., "Match Initiated", "Payment Pending", etc.). Tracking these statuses helps you monitor the progress of each donation.
