Why do I get the "Invalid Two-Factor Auth Code" when I attempt to login to my 360MatchPro account?

What is two-factor authentication? 

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a security process that requires users to use two different trusted methods to verify their identity and obtain access to their account. 

 

To increase account security, Double the Donation clients have the option to enable two-factor authentication for their 360MatchPro account users. Users with two-factor authentication enabled will need to enter a two-factor auth code each time they log in into 360MatchPro:

Why am I getting an error message? 

If you attempt to login to your 360MatchPro account and you receive the "Invalid Two-Factor Auth Code" error message, this means that two-factor authentication is enabled for your 360MatchPro user profile and you will need to provide a two-factor auth code to successfully log in to your account. 

What do I need to do? 

If 2FA was added to your user profile after March 31, 2024, when two-factor authentication was enabled for your user profile, you should have received a setup email with instructions and a link. If you never completed 2FA setup, you can locate this original email to initiate setup at this time. Search for support@doublethedonation.com to find it.

 

If 2FA was added to your user profile before March 31, 2024, your account administrator was provided with a QR code at the time they added 2FA to your user profile. If the administrator has the QR code, you can follow the steps in this guide to complete the setup process and log in to your 360MatchPro account. If the administrator does not have access to the QR code, they can remove the authenticator from your user profile in the "Actions" column of the Current Users table, then add it again. This will initialize the setup email being sent to your email inbox, and you can proceed with setup from there using the steps in the guide linked above.
