This article explains how you can animate the placeholder text that appears in the matching gift search tool or how you can disable the animation.
If you want to animate the search field of your plugin, you can do so by going to Settings --> Plugin Settings --> check the box "Animate the search field's placeholder text." Animating the search field's placeholder text can increase the likelihood that users will search their company's name.
If you make any changes, remember to click "Save Plugin Settings."

Q: What does an animated search look like?
A: The placeholder text in the search field will appear on the screen one character at a time. The animation will only be applied to your plugin. The animation isn't applied to the streamlined search tool to reduce distractions on your donation form. The following image provides an example of what the animation looks like:
