      Double the Donation is the industry-leading matching gifts automation solution for nonprofits and educational institutions to identify more matching gift revenue opportunities and drive more matches to completion. You’ll need a Double the Donation account to activate the matching gift functionality within this partner platform. Not a Double the Donation client?       Step #1: Log into your Bonterra Fundraising (EveryAction) account and navigate to the Administrative Menu. You can also search for "Double the Donation" in the sidebar menu.

       

       

      Step #2: Within the Administrative Menu, select Integrations and then select "Double the Donation Integration" from the available drop-down.

       

       

      Step #3: Enter your Double the Donation public and private API keys to connect your matching module.

       

       

      Step #4: Once connected, you should see the green button and "ENABLED" label.

       

       

      Step #5: Then, you can add the Double the Donation Matching search tool and plug-in to your EveryAction forms by navigating to "Online Actions".

       

       

      Step #6: Create a new Contribution form or edit the existing form that you'd like to enable the Double the Donation integration on.

       

       

      Step #7: Check the employer matching box on the Build Page.

       

       

      Step #8: When you first enable employer matching, you'll be prompted to fill out your organization's information - including your official organization name, tax ID, city, and state/province. Click "organization's information" to fill out the required fields.

       

       

      Once you've entered your organization's information, make sure to toggle on "Employer Matching".

       

       

      Step #9: Add the Employer Matching Merge Field to the confirmation page wherever you would like the Double the Donation confirmation page plug-in to appear.

       

       

      You're all set!  The Double the Donation Matching search tool will appear on your donation form and the plug-in will appear on your confirmation page.

      A: We recommend you create a dedicated matching gift page on your website to place matching gift information in the path of every website visitor, not just those already on your donation form. On this page, you can explain what matching gift programs are and provide donors with a chance to look up their employer’s program forms, guidelines, and instructions. Your dedicated matching gift page will become a useful resource to include in emails, newsletters, and direct messages.
