Does Double the Donation Integrate with ActBlue?

The following article has separate instructions for non-embeddable forms and embeddable ActBlue forms. Clients with embeddable forms can use the instructions for the non-embeddable forms, but clients who use non-embeddable forms cannot use the instructions for the embeddable forms.

Step-by-Step: Integrate 360MatchPro into ActBlue (required for non-embeddable forms)

Your Double the Donation client success representative will contact the ActBlue team on your behalf during your onboarding experience to request the webhooks needed to set up the ActBlue integration. You may also request this activation after onboarding directly from the Double the Donation support team by contacting  support@doublethedonation.com. Once the 360MatchPro integration is enabled in your ActBlue instance, data will now flow from ActBlue to 360MatchPro.

Step-by-Step: Integrate 360MatchPro into Actblue (embeddable forms ONLY)

The following instructions install the 360MatchPro plugin on your ActBlue embeddable form's confirmation page and enable donor tracking.

Step #1: In your 360MatchPro account, navigate to Settings->API Keys.
 
Step #2: In the Embed Codes for Setup section, select "ActBlue embeddable form" in the drop-down menu.  Copy the embed code.
 
 
 
Step #3: Paste the embed code from your 360MatchPro account on the page where your ActBlue embeddable form is installed.
 
Congratulations! 360MatchPro is now embedded on your ActBlue form; the search tool will now appear on the donation page.

Q: I completed the integration steps, but I'm seeing an error message in 360MatchPro. What's wrong?

A: The most likely problem is that the webhook's password in ActBlue's portal did not match the password that was provided in 360MatchPro. If you see the following error message, please access the password set in your ActBlue portal and copy and paste it into 360MatchPro. Keep in mind the password is case-sensitive and should contain no leading or trailing spaces.

 

 

Q: I don't have a 360MatchPro account. How do I get one?

A: Visit https://360matchpro.com/demo-request/ to request a demo! Make sure you mention that you use ActBlue in your demo request form.

 

Q: Where else can I embed Double the Donation's plugin?
For ActBlue users who are using the non-embeddable form, we recommend placing the plugin on your website's "Thank You" page - wherever a donor is redirected after they complete their donation, 
 
A: We recommend you create a dedicated matching gift page on your website to place matching gift information in the path of every website visitor, not just those already on your donation form. On this page, you can explain what matching gift programs are and provide donors with a chance to look up their employer’s program forms, guidelines, and instructions. Your dedicated matching gift page will become a useful resource to include in emails, newsletters, and direct messages.
