The wrong credit card was used for my subscription's renewal period. How can I get the charge refunded and then put on the new card?

This article provides the recommended next steps for an organization to take if the incorrect credit card was charged for a subscription.

Double the Donation's team is able to assist you in ensuring the right charge goes onto the right credit card. 
If the charge has already been processed, please follow the below steps:
  1. Log into your Double the Donation account (
  2. Click on "Billing" from the left hand side.
  3. Add your updated credit card information.
  4. Submit a support ticket with the following information:
    • The username or primary email address associated with your Double the Donation account
    • The last four digits of your new credit card that you want the charge to be placed on.
    • A request stating "please refund the charge that was processed on the prior card and put the charge on my new card"
With the above information, our team should be able to process the updated charge in two to three business days.
