The wrong credit card was used for my subscription's renewal period. How can I get the charge refunded and then put on the new card?

This article explains what to do if your Double the Donation subscription renewal was accidentally charged to the wrong credit card.

If the Charge Has Already Been Processed

If your subscription was charged to the wrong card, follow these steps:

  1. Log into your account: Double the Donation Login

  2. Click Billing in the left-hand menu.

  3. Add your updated credit card information.

  4. Submit a support ticket with the following details:

    • Username or primary email address associated with your account

    • Last four digits of your new credit card

    • A request stating: “Please refund the charge that was processed on the prior card and put the charge on my new card”

Processing Timeline

Once you submit your request:

  • Our team will verify your details.

  • Refund and re-processing of the charge will typically be completed within 2–3 business days
