Adding a new company to Double the Donation's database

This article explains how new companies are added to Double the Donation's database and how quickly companies can be added.

Our goal is to ensure our database is as comprehensive and up-to-date as possible.

If there is a company with a matching gift program that isn’t included in our database, please let us know.

There are two methods for adding a new company:

In both cases, we’ll review the information provided and attempt to verify/expand on the entry before making it publicly accessible.

When we're provided with a copy of a company's employee giving form or guidelines we aim to add a company within two business days.

If our team needs to research details on a company's matching gift or volunteer grant program it can take longer.

Our goal is to ensure each company entry is as accurate and up-to-date as possible.

The best way to request for us to add a new company is to provide us with a copy of the company's official matching gift form or guidelines.

If you aren't able to provide us with a copy of the company's form or guidelines please send us as much of the following information as possible:

Matching Gift Program Details:

If a matching gift program is offered
Minimum matched
Maximum matched
What employees are eligible (ex. full-time, part-time, retirees, etc.)
What types of nonprofits are eligible (ex. All 501(c)(3) organizations and educational institutions or are there restrictions)
How do employees submit matching gifts? (ex. paper form or electronic link)
Is there a URL employees can go to access more information on matching gifts or the form?
General contact information (ex: company vendor contact information, related department numbers, or emails)
Any additional details you feel are relevant
