Step-by-Step: IntegrateDouble the Donation Matching into Handbid donation forms

Step 1 — Open Your Handbid Manager Account

Navigate to your Handbid Manager dashboard and click the edit icon next to your organization name.

 

Step 2 — Navigate to the Add-Ons Section

After opening your organization profile, select the Add-Ons tab.

 

Step 3 — Enter Your Double the Donation API Keys

Within the Double the Donation section:

  1. Paste your Public API Key and Private API Key from your Double the Donation Matching account.

  2. Click Add New Double the Donation Connection.

  3. Click Update to save.

 

Step 4 — Choose the Campaign, Peer-to-Peer Page, or Auction

Navigate to the specific Campaign, Peer-to-Peer page, or Auction item where you want matching gift tools enabled.

Click the gear icon next to the campaign name.

 

Step 5 — Navigate to the Donations Section

From the campaign settings tabs, select Donations.

 

Step 6 — Enable Double the Donation

Check the box labeled: Enable “Double the Donation”

Then click Update to save.

 

Integration Complete

Once enabled:

  • Matching gift tools will appear on the selected Handbid donation forms

  • Donation records will flow into your Double the Donation Matching account
