Step-by-Step: Integrate Double the Donation Matching into Funraise

Phase 1: Activate Double the Donation Matching.

Step #1: Login to  https://platform.funraise.io/login.

 

Step #2: Navigate to "Settings" and then "Integrations."

 

 

Step #3: Click the pencil icon at the end of the "Double the Donation" card.

 

 

Toggle the switch to the right to turn it on (it should turn green).

 

 

If you have an existing Double the Donation Matching account, enter your credentials. (Not sure how to find your Double the Donation Matching credentials? See the FAQs at the end of this article.)

 

Phase 2: Add Double the Donation to your giving forms.

Step #1: Navigate to the giving form editor. Navigate to "Settings" and then "Payments."

 

Step #2: Scroll down to "Transaction Options." Select "Optional" from the "Corporate Match" dropdown list.

Double the Donation Matching is now activated for that giving form! All donors who give through this form will receive personalized corporate matching gift information.

Q: I don’t have a Double the Donation Matching account. How do I get one?

A: Visit https://doublethedonation.com/demo-request/ to request a demo! Make sure you mention that you use Funraise in your demo request form.
 
You can also select the "Create an Account" option that appears on your Funraise platform while following the steps above. 
 
 

Q: I'm an existing Double the Donation Matching client. Where do I find my credentials?

A: Login to your Double the Donation Matching portal at https://doublethedonation.com/members/login/. Navigate to "Settings" and then "API Keys." You will enter your public and private API keys into the Funraise "Integrations" tab to enable the integration.

 

Q: Where can I embed the Double the Donation plugin?

A: We recommend you create a dedicated matching gift page on your website to place matching gift information in the path of every website visitor, not just those already on your donation form. On this page, you can explain what matching gift programs are and provide donors with a chance to look up their employer’s program forms, guidelines, and instructions. Your dedicated matching gift page will become a useful resource to include in emails, newsletters, and direct messages.
