Step-by-Step: Integrate Double the Donation Matching with Ecopixel Donation Forms

Ecopixel activates the integration for your organization. Once the integration is enabled in your Ecopixel environment, follow the steps below to add the search tool and matching widgets to your forms.

 

Step 1 — Add the Double the Donation Advanced Element to Your Form

Place the streamlined search field exactly where you want it to appear on your Ecopixel donation form.

Data Mapping Requirements

The following fields require a mapped value from your form:

  • Campaign

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Email

  • Donation Amount

Use the field-mapping tokens from your form (e.g., {email} for the donor’s email address).

Redirect Requirement

Be sure to add a Redirect finisher to your form and set the redirect target to your thank-you page so donors see the matching gift plugin after submitting their donation.

 

Step 2 — Add the Double the Donation Matching Widget to the Thank-You Page

  1. Open your thank-you page in Ecopixel.

  2. Click Create new content element.

  3. Select the Double the Donation Widget plugin.

Once both elements are added:

  • The streamlined search tool appears on your donation form
