What does Big River's integration with Double the Donation Matching do?
Double the Donation Matching is a fully automated matching gift tool.
When Double the Donation Matching is activated, the donor will be presented with a streamlined matching gift search tool on the confirmation page after they've made a donation. When the donor types their employer into the search tool, their transaction record updates in your organization's matching module to include that employer information.
Step #1: Donor enters their information.
Step #2: Donor selects the gift they would like to contribute and clicks "Add."
Step #3: The donor enters payment information and clicks "Submit."
Step #4: The donor is directed to the confirmation page, which includes Double the Donation's matching gift search tool.
Step #5: The donor searches for the employer and is immediately presented with their company-specific matching gift information.

On this page, you can explain what matching gift programs are and provide donors with a chance to look up their employer's program forms, guidelines, and instructions. Your dedicated matching gift page will become a useful resource to include in emails, newsletters, and direct messages.
