Overview of Plugin Settings
In your Double the Donation Volunteering account, the Plugin Settings tab provides the embed code needed to place the volunteer-specific company program search tool on your website. This tool helps donors find and engage with workplace volunteering programs, including volunteer grants and volunteer paid time off (PTO).
The embed code found in the Plugin Settings tab in the volunteer module is different than the code for the standard matching gift version of the company program search tool. You can learn more about the default matching gift program search tool available in the matching module here.
Key Features of the Plugin Settings
The Plugin Settings tab allows you to customize and configure the plugin for your organization’s needs. There are three main sections within the plugin settings:

Plugin Embed Code
This section provides the HTML embed code to integrate the volunteer-specific search tool on your website.

Your Dedicated Volunteer Page
Here, you can enter the URL of the page where you’ve embedded the volunteer plugin. This is important because automated emails will direct donors to this specific page instead of the default search page.

Plugin Customization
The Plugin Settings card allows for customizations such as:-
Modifying the default search text in the plugin.

Changing the placeholder text in the search field.
