Step-by-Step: Integrate CRM Advance in your 360MatchPro account
360MatchPro is the industry-leading matching gifts automation solution for nonprofits and educational institutions to identify more matching gift revenue opportunities and drive more matches to completion. You’ll need a 360MatchPro account to activate the matching gift functionality within this partner platform. Not a 360MatchPro client? Schedule a demo at https://360matchpro.com/demo-request/. Note: You will need your Ellucian CRM Advance API key. Ensure that your API key subscribes to change notifications associated with Ellucian CRM Advance Contributions. Contact your Ellucian representative for assistance with your API key.
Step #1: Log in to your 360MatchPro portal.
Step #2: Navigate to the "Integrations" tab and select "Browse". Use the Browse Partner Directory to search for "Ellucian CRM Advance". Select "Activate Integration".
Step #3: Under the Ellucian logo, enter your Ellucian API key. Select "Integrate." Push the Status to "Live"

Step-by-Step: Integrate 360MatchPro in your CRM Advance online donation pages
Note: This set of steps is optional but highly recommended. If you are not using CRM Advance online donation pages (also referred to as Constituent Experience webpages), you do not need to complete these steps.
Step #1: Log in to CRM Advance.
Step #2: Navigate to Settings and locate the "Double the Donation Settings" on the page.
Step #3: Enter your 360MatchPro public key and select "Save" at the bottom of the page.
The 360MatchPro streamlined company name search tool will now appear on your CRM Advance online donation form, and matching gift information will appear on your confirmation page.

CRM Advance - Double the Donation FAQs
Q: We don't use CRM Advance online donation forms. Will the integration still work?
A: Yes. The first set of instructions in this support article ("Step-by-Step: Integrate CRM Advance in your 360MatchPro account") is required to set up the flow of data between CRM Advance and 360MatchPro. The second set of instructions ("Step-by-Step: Integrate 360MatchPro in your CRM Advance online donation pages") is optional. However, if your institution uses CRM Advance CX webpages, we highly recommend completing the second set of instructions to place the company name search field within the donor experience. This implementation leads to higher usage and greater accuracy in your matching gift results.
Q: Gift records aren't appearing in 360MatchPro. What could be the issue?
A: The 360MatchPro integration relies on the Ellucian Ethos Message Queue API. Your API key should subscribe to change notifications associated with Ellucian CRM Advance Contributions. If 360MatchPro does not import your donations, it’s possible that your API key is not configured appropriately.
FAQ: You can view your API configuration by navigating to Integrations --> Manage --> Select "Click Here" to view the API Key's configuration. We recommend reaching out to your Ellucian representative for assistance with configuring your API key.

Q: What happens after the integration is activated?
A: 360MatchPro queries Ellucian’s message queue API every minute to see if there are any new contributions and/or changes to existing contributions. If the queue is not empty, the contribution will be imported into 360MatchPro for additional processing.
Q: What type of contribution records are imported into 360MatchPro?
A: 360MatchPro imports contributions that are designated as “gifts.” All pledges will be excluded.
Q: Does 360MatchPro import contributions from organizations?
A: No. A contribution is imported into 360MatchPro if a donor is categorized as a person only, not an organization.
Q: If a donor has multiple email addresses, which one is imported into 360MatchPro?
A: From most important to least important, 360MatchPro prioritizes email addresses based on the following criteria:
- The address is flagged as active,
- The address has a primary preference,
- The address is categorized as personal.
If you'd prefer to limit the integration to only import Active or Primary email addresses, please check one of the boxes under Email Preferences within 360MatchPro when configuring your integration:
Q: Can I customize the integration based on Constituent Allocation Preferences?
A: Yes! You can customize the integration based on Constituent Allocation Preferences by navigating to Integrations --> Manage --> Constituent Allocation Preferences.
Q: Where can I embed Double the Donation's matching gift search plugin?
A: We recommend that you incorporate Double the Donation's matching gift search tool across your broader fundraising. To install the search tool anywhere on your website, simply copy and paste the Embed Code from your 360MatchPro portal.
We recommend that you create a dedicated matching gift page where you can explain what matching gift programs are and provide donors with a chance to look up their employer's program forms, guidelines, and instructions. This page can be used as a resource to be included in emails, newsletters, and direct messages. This page will also be connected to your 360MatchPro automated email outreach.
