Q: Does Double the Donation Payroll Giving cost anything?
A: There is no cost to embed the payroll giving plugin on to your website! If you have any other Double the Donation plan, you’ll see the plugin embed code in your Double the Donation account.
Q: How is the payroll giving plugin different from the matching gift or volunteer plugin?
A: The payroll giving plugin is available for you to embed on your Ways to Give pages in areas that specifically deal in payroll deduction information! It specifically highlights information about payroll giving programs and parameters, so someone who is interested in giving via their paycheck can search their company name and see the information most relevant to them.
Q: Why is the payroll giving module in beta? When will it exit beta?
A: The payroll giving module is in beta while we continue to build out additional features and add payroll giving programs to our database. We expect to reach 95% coverage of payroll giving programs by the end of December, 2025, at which point we will move the payroll giving module out of beta. All features in the beta module are available for you to use and we encourage you to do so! As we continue to refine and add features, you won’t have to make a change to your embed code.
