Step-by-Step: Integrate Double the Donation's 360MatchPro Volunteer Hub into VolunteerMatters

Step #1: Log in to your VolunteerMatters account with the "Configuration" security access role.

Step #2: Navigate to "Configuration" in the menu and click on "Integrations." When the menu expands, click on "Double the Donation."

Step #3: You have now opened up the Double the Donation Integrations page. To enable the integration, click the "Edit" button under the Double the Donation settings box.

Step #4: Toggle the "Enabled" switch and insert your public and private API Keys from your Double the Donation account. 

Make sure you click the "Verify and Save" button. This will return you to the Double the Donation Integrations page with a confirmation message that the integration was enabled. 

Step #5: Ensure that you include the "Organization" field on your volunteer form, using the drag and drop tool on the VolunteerMatters form builder. Many systems will have this field in use already in their VolunteerMatters instance. If you are not currently using the built in "Organization" field, you can follow this Customize Views solution to add the field to various pages in VolunteerMatters. Including the "Organization" field within your form builder will globally activate the 360MatchPro Volunteer Hub search tool on all volunteer forms.

A: We recommend that you incorporate Double the Donation’s search tool across your broader volunteering information. To install the search tool anywhere on your website, simply copy and paste the Embed Code from your 360MatchPro portal. 

We recommend that you create a dedicated volunteer incentive page where you can explain what volunteer grants and volunteer time off programs are and provide volunteers with a chance to look up their employer’s program forms, guidelines, and instructions. This page can be used as a resource to be included in emails, newsletters, and direct messages.
