How to integrate/embed the plugin search tools in REACH

This article explains how to create a dedicated Matching Gift page in REACH and embed Double the Donation’s search tool to engage donors and boost corporate gift matching.

Step-by-Step: Integrate Double the Donation's Plugins into REACH

Step 1 — Copy the Double th Donation Plugin Code

  1. Log in to Double the Donation.

  2. Navigation Path

    • Matching:
      Settings → Plugin Settings

    • Volunteering:
      Plugin Settings

    • Payroll Giving:
      Plugin Settings

  3. Highlight and copy the Plugin Embed Code.

 

Step 2 — Open (or Create) a Dedicated Page/s

  1. Log in to your REACH admin account.
  2. Navigate to Portal Content → Pages in the left sidebar.
  3. Click the + Add a Page button.
  4. Enter a descriptive Title (e.g., Matching Gifts - Double Your Impact).
  5. Add your introductory text or relevant background information into the Body field.
  6. Upload or embed any desired media or branding assets.

 

Step 3 — Paste the Code as HTML

On your REACH page:

  1. Click the Insert/Edit HTML Block button.
  2. Paste the embed code provided by Double the Donation.
  3. Save your page.

If you’re using the previous Page editor in REACH, add the code under Tools > Source Code.

Result

  • Double the Donation plugin renders on the page

  • Supporters can search for employer's workplace giving information

 

Step 4 — Register the Page URL

  1. Copy the live URL of your page.

  2. Return to Double the Donation → Settings → Plugin Settings.

  3. Paste the URL into

    1. Your Dedicated Matching Gift Page

    2. Your Dedicated Volunteer Page

    3. Your Dedicated Payroll Giving Page

  4. Click Save Settings.
