Double the Donation provides an easy way to enable matching gift functionality through Give Lively. To activate this integration, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Navigate to Give Lively Settings

Go to the Settings tab in your Give Lively account.

Select Organization Settings from the left menu.

Step 2: Connect to Double the Donation

In the Integrations section, select Connect to Double the Donation to open the integration settings.
Step 3: Input API Keys

Enter your Double the Donation Matching API keys into the corresponding fields.

Toggle Show on All Payment Forms to "on" and select Save.
Step 4: Confirm Successful Connection
If successful, you will see a message confirming that your Double the Donation account has been linked. The Double the Donation company search tool will now appear on your thank-you pages.

A: Currently, only global settings are available. In the Integrations section of your Give Lively account, you can enable or disable Double the Donation functionality for all your forms at once. A: Yes, the integration can be activated on Gen 2 payment forms.
Q: Does Give Lively send recurring/monthly donations to Double the Donation?
A: No. Give Lively does not send recurring/monthly donations to Double the Donation. Only the first recurring donation will be pulled in. Subsequent donations will not be automatically integrated.
Q: How does the integration work with tax-deductible event tickets in Give Lively?
A: If an event ticket is marked as tax-deductible within Give Lively, the Double the Donation plugin will display on the confirmation page. The tax-deductible portion of the ticket, plus any additional donations, will be automatically sent to Double the Donation.
