Double the Donation Volunteering is designed to support organizations in promoting corporate volunteer programs among their donors and volunteers. It allows users to easily find out if their employers offer volunteer PTO (Paid Time Off) hours and volunteer grants.

 

You can access the volunteer module from the top navigation bar in your Double the Donation account.

How Double the Donation Volunteering Works

The Volunteering Essentials plugin allows volunteers to search their employer’s name on your volunteer information pages. By doing so, they can quickly discover whether their employer offers any volunteer PTO or volunteer grants.

 

At this time, no donation data flows into your Double the Donation account, but the donor or volunteer can still learn about their employer’s volunteer benefits. This helps bridge the awareness gap, even if they don’t visit your organization's website directly to volunteer or donate.
