You’ll need access to the Double the Donation Volunteering module to activate the volunteer incentive functionality within this partner platform.

Step-by-Step: Integrate Double the Donation Volunteering into Virtuous Volunteer.
Step #1: Log into the Double the Donation Volunteering module at https://doublethedonation.com/members/
Step #2: Navigate to the Integrations tab and select Browse. Use the Partner Directory to search “Virtuous Volunteer”
Step #3: Select Activate Integration. You will be prompted to enter an API Key and Webhook Secret from Virtuous Volunteer.
Step #4: Log into your organization’s Virtuous Volunteer account. Navigate to Settings and select API Settings. Click Generate API Key.
Step #5: Copy and paste your API Key into Double the Donation.
Step #6: Within Virtuous Volunteer, navigate to Integrations then VOMO Webhooks.
Step #7: Toggle on Enabled.
Step #8: Input https://doublethedonation.com/api/integrations/virtuous/webhook under Webhook Target URL.
Then, under Project Participations, toggle Participation Created on.
Step #9: Copy your Webhook Secret and click Save.
Step #10: Paste your Webhook Secret into Double the Donation and Save Configuration.
You will see the Virtuous Volunteer Organization ID and name associated with your API key displayed. You’ll see the message “Successfully saved Virtuous Volunteer settings” when your integration is active.
That's all there is to it! Virtuous Volunteer is now integrated with Double the Donation Volunteering.

A: We recommend that you incorporate Double the Donation's search tool across your broader volunteer efforts. To install the search tool anywhere on your website, simply copy and paste the Embed Code from your Double the Donation portal.
We recommend that you create a dedicated volunteer incentive page where you can explain what volunteer grant and volunteer time off programs are and provide volunteers with a chance to look up their employer's program forms, guidelines, and instructions. This page can be used as a resource to be included in emails, newsletters, and direct messages.
