Double the Donation helps nonprofits and schools grow revenue across workplace giving programs, including matching gifts, volunteer incentives, payroll giving, and corporate sponsorship opportunities. Our workplace giving automation platform identifies eligible opportunities and drives more submissions to completion.

Integrating Double the Donation with WeGive

Step 1 – Open the Integrations tab in WeGive

  1. In the WeGive dashboard, navigate to Settings → Integrations.
  2. Click the Double the Donation tile.

 

Step 2 – Enter your API Keys

  1. Paste your Public API Key and Private API Key from Double the Donation Matching → Account Profile Dropdown → API Keys.

Step 3 – Enable the integration

  1. Click Test Connection to verify the keys and confirm the integration is live. Upon success, you should see a green flag indicating "Double the Donation keys verified.”

 

Ensure that the Enable Integration and Submit Donations toggles are switched ON.

 

Step 4 – Enabling the integration per Checkout

  1. Navigate to your desired Checkout → Settings → Thank you.
  2. Find the Corporate Gift Matching option and switch the toggle ON.

  1. Navigate to your desired pledge under Pledge Templates → Settings → Thank you.
  2. Find the Corporate Gift Matching option and switch the toggle ON.

Q: I don't have a Double the Donation Matching account. How do I get one?

A: Visit our Demo Request Page to request a demo. Make sure you mention that you use We Give in your demo request form!

 

Q: Where else can I embed Double the Donation's plugin?

A: We recommend creating a dedicated matching gift page on your website. This page will help all website visitors, not just those on your donation form, understand matching gift programs and easily find their company’s matching gift guidelines and forms.
