Step-by-Step: Establishing a connection between Double the Donation Matching and Veracross CRM
Step #1: Log into Axiom and navigate to the Identity & Access Management homepage. Find the Double the Donation vendor record from the partner list and click “Start Integration”.
NOTE: You must be an OAuth_App_Admin for this self-service activation.
Step #2: Set the appropriate scopes: Read Development: Gifts, List Development: Gifts, and Read Development: Constituents.
NOTE: These scopes enable Double the Donation to pull relevant donation data from Veracross CRM into Double the Donation matching. These scopes must be enabled for the integration to function.
Step #3: Log into Double the Donation Matching at https://doublethedonation.com/members/.
Step #4: Navigate to the "Integrations" tab and select "Browse". Use the Browse Partner Directory to search for "Veracross”

Step #6: Enter your Veracross Client ID, Client Secret, and School Route and select “Validate Credentials”. Once your credentials have been validated, select “Integrate”.

A: If you’ve activated the integration through Veracross’ Identify & Access Management homepage, the Double the Donation team can access the necessary credentials through the Veracross Partner Portal. Let the Double the Donation team know and we can assist in connecting the integration.
Q: Why are my donation records incomplete or missing information in Double the Donation?
A: If donation records are missing information or are not flowing into Double the Donation, ensure that you’ve enabled ALL of the appropriate scopes for the integration to function. Double the Donation needs access to Read Development: Gifts, List Development: Gifts, and Read Development: Constituents.
