Step-by-Step: Integrate Double the Donation Matching into Givecloud

Step 1 — Open the Giving Experience Donation Form

Navigate to Fundraise → Giving Experience, select the donation form you want to update, and click Customize.

 

Step 2 — Enable Employer Matching

Inside the customization editor:

  1. Click Customize Experience

  2. Select Employer Matching

  3. Click Enable the Double the Donation Integration (hyperlink)

 

Step 3 — Enter Your API Keys and Enable the Integration

On the Double the Donation configuration screen:

  1. Toggle Enable Double the Donation → ✓ ON

  2. Paste your Public Key and Private Key from your Double the Donation Matching portal

  3. (Optional) Choose whether all contributions or only matching-enabled contributions should sync

  4. Click Save & Test

 

Step 4 — Return to the Donation Form and Toggle Employer Matching ON

Once keys are saved, return to the Giving Experience form and ensure Employer Matching is switched ON.

 

Step 5 — Save Your Configuration

Click Save in the upper-right corner to finalize activation.
