Step-by-Step: Integrate Double the Donation's Matching into Event.Gives

Step 1 — Navigate to the Event Settings

Open the desired event in Event.Gives and select the Settings tab.

Step 2 — Open the Integrations Section

  • Scroll down the Settings page until you find the Integrations area.

  • Locate the field labeled Connect to Double the Donation.

Step 3 — Enter Your Double the Donation Public Key

  1. Sign into your Double the Donation Matching account.

  2. Navigate to: Settings → API Keys.

  3. Copy your Public API Key.

  4. Paste it into the Connect to Double the Donation field in Event.Gives.

  5. Click Save Changes.

Step 4 — Integration Complete

Once saved:

  • Your Event.Gives event is now connected

  • The matching gift search tool will appear during checkout
