      Does Double the Donation Integrate with ClickBid?

      This article walks through Double the Donation's integration with ClickBid.

      Step-by-Step: Integrate Double the Donation Matching into ClickBid 

       

      Step #1: In your ClickBid settings, navigate to your Software Settings > Auction Settings > Payment. Before you are set up, this dropdown menu will only have a "no" option. Access the Show Double the Donation at Checkout option & select the signup available here form

      Step #2: Navigate to the Integrations page then select the Dashboard and choose the Double the Donation module. Enter your Public Key and Private Key from your Double the Donation Matching account and click "connect."

      Step #3: To turn on the integration for bidding sites and silent auctions, return to your ClickBid Software Settings and navigate to Auction Settings > Payment. Then access Show Double the Donation at Checkout? Box and the YES will be available for you to choose. This setting directly impacts the bidding site/silent auction portion of ClickBid.

      Step #4: To turn on the integration for the online donation/text to give feature of ClickBid, navigate to the donations section > Text to Give > Settings. Find the other Show Double the Donation? box and select YES from the drop down menu.

      Step #5: Congratulations! Your Double the Donation Matching integration is now active on your ClickBid platform. If you would like to remove Double the Donation Matching tools from ClickBid's auction site or donation page, you can do so by toggling the settings in both spots to NO to turn off the ability for anyone to search for their employer at checkout.

      We recommend that you create a dedicated matching gift page where you can explain what matching gift programs are and provide donors with a chance to look up their employer's program forms, guidelines, and instructions. This page can be used as a resource to be included in emails, newsletters, and direct messages.
