What Are Corporate Sponsorships?

Corporate sponsorships are nonprofit funding opportunities that include both monetary and in-kind contributions from businesses. They generally fall into two umbrellas: Corporate Grants (financial support) and In-Kind Giving (goods, services, or volunteer time).

How to Use the Database to Find Corporate Sponsorships

    • Use your website’s embedded Double the Donation plugin to look up companies that provide sponsorships. Sponsorship information is already included—no activation needed. If a company offers sponsorships, expand the listing to view details.

  2. Review sponsorship details

    • Company profiles include funding amounts, items donated, application process, and deadlines. Confirm alignment with your mission and timeline before applying.

  3. Connect with the right contacts

    • Use the contact information provided (and any linked application portals) to reach corporate philanthropy or sponsorship teams directly.

  4. Prepare a strong proposal

    • Frame your mission, audience reach, and mutual benefits to the company. Tailor to the program’s listed criteria.

  5. Track and manage applications

    • Maintain a simple tracker of companies contacted, application dates, and statuses so you can follow up on time and measure results.
