Step 1 — Log Into Your 4aGoodCause Account

On the top navigation bar, click Admin, then select Tools.

 

Step 2 — Open Double the Donation Matching Settings

Within the Tools section, select Double the Donation – Matching Gifts from the left-hand sidebar.\

 

Step 3 — Add Your API Keys

In Double the Donation → Settings → API Keys, locate your Public Key and Private Key.

Integration Complete

Once these elements are configured:

• Donors can search for their employer on your 4aGoodCause donation form

• Matching gift instructions appear on the thank-you page

• Donation records sync automatically to your Double the Donation Matching account

Q: How is this different from the previous integration?

A: In the previous version of our integration, nonprofits could embed a Double the Donation matching gift plugin on the confirmation page of their 4aGoodCause forms. However, nonprofits had limited ability to track donor engagement with the tool and were unable to follow up with eligible donors through automated matching gift outreach.

 

Now that 4aGoodCause integrates with Double the Donation Matching, organizations can identify eligible donors on the donation form itself and present tailored matching gift next steps to those donors on the confirmation page. Double the Donation Matching then automates personalized matching gift emails to all donors even if they did not enter their employment information during the donation process. While that automation enables organizations to send matching gift outreach easily, The matching module also stores all of that employment and engagement information so that nonprofits have access to detailed analytics.

A: Visit the Double the Donation demo request page to schedule a demo. Mention that you use 4aGoodCause in your demo request form.
