            How does upgrading my subscription from the Basic Plan to the Premium Plan impact my nonprofit's billing and costs?

            We can help you upgrade your subscription from the Basic Plan to the Premium Plan typically within the same business day.

            From a billing and pricing standpoint there are two scenarios:

            #1: Your organization is still in the new account 14-day trial period:
            In this case we'll switch your organization's account from the Basic Plan to the Premium Plan and at the end of the 14-day trial period you'll be charged the price of our Premium Plan.

            #2: Your organization is a current subscriber to Double the Donation and you're in the middle of an annual billing period.
            In this case we'll switch your organization from the Basic Plan to the Premium Plan and charge you a prorated amount for the remainder of the year. For example, lets say you subscribed to our Basic Plan at $299 per year on March 1st and want to upgrade your subscription six months into your subscription. If the Premium Plan is $499 per year ($200 more per year than the Basic Plan), we'll charge you a prorated amount of $100 to upgrade for the second half of the year. Then on your renewal date of March 1st of the following year, you'll be subscribed at the annual Premium Plan rate.

            To upgrade your subscription from the Basic Plan to the Premium Plan, please submit a support ticket with the following information:
            • The username or primary email address on file (if you don't have this please provide your nonprofit's name)
            • A request stating "Please upgrade my account from the Basic Plan to the Premium Plan"
            • Indicate that you understand there will be a prorated charge to upgrade
            We'll then process the upgrade, email you a receipt, and switch your account to the Premium Plan.
